Sorting out a boosted track car

Tommy's boosted track car was hitting fuel cut, where the engine computer pulls power to protect the motor, and idling high. Rise laid out his options, started with new plugs, then reworked timing, boost and idle until the car held a steady 13 psi. At his request they also ran a compression check to confirm the engine had survived years of track days. On price, Tommy H. was direct: "Reasonable, remember you get what you pay for."
