Where Austin Miatas get dialed in

Roadcraft Motorsport is a small Cedar Park shop built around the stuff that makes a Miata feel right: suspension, alignments and track setup. Miguel runs the place, and between Miata coilover installs he's posting Porsche GT cars on the alignment rack and chasing his own lap times at Harris Hill. Your Miata will be in good company.

Fixed properly, not rushed

One Miata owner brought in a 1991 with a sagging suspension. Miguel took the time to properly diagnose it, fixed everything, and finished with an alignment that left the car driving straight and feeling planted. Another Miata owner had coilovers installed, with the ride height and alignment set to how they actually drive and the car corner balanced with weight in the seat. Corner balancing spreads the car's weight evenly across all four tires, and doing it with the driver's weight accounted for is how you get numbers that matter on track.

The shop's own posts show more of the same, including Koni shocks and a Flyin' Miata sway bar going on with a custom alignment to match.

Know before you go

Roadcraft keeps weekday hours and does a lot of alignment and setup work, so reach out ahead of time with your car, your mods and how you use it. If you're heading to the track or an autocross, tell Miguel; it's clearly the kind of job he likes.
